FFSL workshop, a success

The Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) conducted a workshop for National and Elite Club coaches who are fully engaged with the subject of coaching. The workshop which was held through online system was a highly successful one for all who participated. It was held under the guidance of Technical Director FFSL and Head Coach of National team Amir Alagic. He had the support from Coach Education Manager Sampath Perera. Twenty nine persons from Elite Clubs from all parts of the country, coaches of women’s National team and National Youth teams took part in this workshop which will be of great value for them in the future assignments.

The workshop was worked off in two sessions with the first session focusing on pre-season preparations and training while the second included training systems, structures and periodization. The FFSL expects all participants to make good use of the training they received from this workshop to deliver maximum from it to develop the game throughout the country. (B.P.)
