The 46th National Sports Festival (NSF) events of marathon, race walking and cycling (racing ) were scheduled to be held on October 10, 11 at Kataragama have been postponed due to the prevailing health situation in the country.
According to the Director General of Sports Amal Edirisooriya due to an unexpected health situation in the country all the events planned for the National sports Festival will not be held as scheduled and Marathon, race walking and cycling events were postponed. New dates will be notified later. The 46th National Sports Festival is jointly organised with Sports Ministry and the Sports Development Department.
