The Kandy District Cricket Association inter club domestic cricket tournament is in full swing. Now the organizers are worried, about the current corona situation.
In the 42nd game Kandy Youth Sports Club packed with some top cricketers beat young Madawala Cricket Club by 181 runs at the Prisons grounds Pallekelle. Kandy Youth SC won the toss and elected to bat first and went to score 280 for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 over’s. Shehan 70 not out and C. Kumarasiri 61. In bowling M. Imran 3 for 60 and M. Nafraz 2 for 36. In reply Madawala C.C. were bundled out for 99 runs in 30 overs - M. Azmil 17. Bowling, D. Bandara 4 for 23, U. Jayalath 2 for 20 and C. Kumarasiri 2 for 23.
