The Irakkamam IRFC Sports Club Football Team beat the Akkaraipattu Mohammathiya Sports Club Football Team by 4:0 in the ‘Shoe City Champion Trophy 2020’ soccer tournament inaugural match conducted by Shoe City Sports Club, Akkaraipattu at the Akkaraipattu Public Play Grounds recently.
Akkaraipattu Shoe City Sports Club officials organized the tournament to mark the completion of three years of the club.
Akkaraipattu Mohammathiya SC, Irakkamam IRFC SC, Akkaraipattu Hijra SC, Spartan SC, FSM SC, Marksmen SC, Shoe City SC and Supersonic SC football teams from the region participated at the tournament. Man of the match was M.A.M.Rizad of the Irakkamam IRFC Sports Club.
Trophies and prizes were awarded to the champions and runner-up teams of the tournament.
Akkaraipattu Shoe City SC officials, presidents of the sports clubs, players and prominent people of the area were present. At the inaugural match, attracted hundreds of viewers.
