Addalaichenai Supersonic Sports Club soccer champions

Supersonic Sports Club Football team, Addalaichenai became champions of the ‘Shoe City Champion Trophy - 2020’ soccer tournament organized by the Shoe City Sports Club, Akkaraipattu when they beat the defending champions Irakkamam IRFC Sports Club Football team by 5:4 on a penalty shootout in the finals played at the Akkaraipattu Public Play Grounds. Akkaraipattu Shoe City Sports Club officials organized the soccer tournament to mark the completion of three year of the club.

Akkaraipattu Mohammathiya SC, Irakkamam IRFC SC, Akkaraipattu Hijra SC, Spartan SC, FSM SC, Marksmen SC, Shoe City SC and Supersonic SC football teams from the Ampara district participated in a league system at the tournament.
