Ex-captain Sanath Jayasuriya helps sports journalist in fight against Covid-19

Former Sri Lanka skipper Sanath Jayasuriya donated face masks and safety equipments to the front line media professionals along with the Professional Sports Journalists Association of Sri Lanka.

The founder of the Bellose Care Chathura Perera and H.H.Co Chinthaka Sajeewa also contributed to the worthy cause by donating their Medical and Safety products to the journalists joining hands with Jayasuriya.

Speaking to the media Jayasuriya said, “Media professionals are also playing a major role in the pandemic situation in Sri Lanka and our duty is to take care of them”.

“I have seen couple of social concern works carried out by the PSJASL in the last couple of the weeks and I decided to contribute something to them especially sports journalists who gave immense support during my early days of cricket.”

“As a personal car company we are keen to support the professionals who fight against the Covid19 issue in Sri Lanka,” said Chathura Perera founder of Bellose Care.
