The Sri Lanka Test team’s veteran spinner Dilruwan Perera has offered his help to fight the Covid-19 pandemic by donating an automated sterilization chamber to the Medical Officer of Health (MOH) of Panadura. The chamber was manufactured by Malinda Dikmagoda.

“The global pandemic has shut down all sports activities globally and it’s our priority to help frontlines fight against Covid-19,” said Perera.

“Take the maximum and try and help one another, check up on your neighbors and try to donate at least a meal to the needy people,” he added.

Former players like Kumar Sangakkara, Mahela Jayawardene, Roshan Mahanama, Chaminda Vaas, Muthiah Muralitharan and many other current players have generously donated to help the authorities overcome the crisis.
