The 4th Motor hill climb races have been indefinitely postponed due to the corona virus outbreak. The 2020 hill climb event, one of the most famous racing events in the country was to be held at Kothmale and organized by Senkadagala Motor Sports Club in association with Negombo Motor Sports Club.
This year they were all out to come with their annual hill climb which was scheduled to be held in June.
John Baskern one of the organizing committee members said that they had big plans to make it a good event like in the past, but it is sad that it will not take place.
The organizing committee members comprises Thusith de Silva , John Baskern, John Isca, Errol Kems, Poorana Dahanayake, Nandai Solomon, Sarath Tennakoon, E.M. Dissanayake, Osida Wijeratne, Shamal Wijeratne and S. Bambaradeniya.
