Liyanage (157) shines for Thoras in Mini Battle

Thenuka Liyanage hit a brilliant 157 off 204 balls (17 fours, 3 sixes) and shared a sixth wicket stand of 135 with Shehan Silva (39) to take S Thomas’ College to a powerful 273-8 declared on the first day of the Mini-Battle match played at Mt Lavinia yesterday.

By the close Royal had lost two wickets for 37 runs. The match continues today.
