England XI draw with SL XI

The three-day practice match between touring England XI and Sri Lanka XI ended in a tame draw at BOI Sports Complex, Katunayake yesterday.

England XI piled up 320/7 for their second innings with Z. Crawley top scoring 91 runs. O.J. Pope scored 77 runs and B. A. Stoke added 43 runs. D.S. Tillakaratne and K. Anjula bowled best for Sri Lanka capturing two wickets each. Earlier England XI scored 316 for their first innings and Sri Lanka IX replied with 245.
