The 103rd cricket clash between two of Kandy’s cricket rivals Trinity College and St. Anthony’s College termed the Kandy Battle of the Blues has been postponed because of the corona virus school holidays. This game was to be played today and on Saturday at the Asgiriya Stadium.
The Battle of the Golds big match between Rahula College and Wariyapola Sumangala College which was to take place at Pallekele Stadium from today too has been postponed.
A new date for the two matches will be decided later.
Meanwhile Trinity and St Anthony’s are due to meet in a Dialog inter-school rugby match at Nittawela today. A decision whether to go ahead with the match will be decided this morning.
