SLC Emerging XI beat Sampath Bank

The Sri Lanka Cricket Emerging XI posted their first win, beating Sampath Bank by 80 runs in the on going 27th Singer MCA Premier League 2020, T-20 League at MCA grounds, ensuring a berth in the semifinals yesterday.

LB Finance recorded their second consecutive no-result, due to bad weather.

The SLC Emerging XI, sent into bat posted a modest 139 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs and defended it well, as their bowlers, Nimanda Subasinghe (4-14-4) and Dhananjaya Lakshan (0.2–00–2) bamboozled the experienced Sampath Bank batsmen, shot out for a paultry 59 runs in 13.2 overs.
