A one-day Physical Fitness Test training camp for Grade 5 school children of Addalaichenai Divisional Schools was conducted by School Sports Development Project Unit of the Akkaraipattu Zonal Education Office at the Addalaichenai Iqrah Vidyalaya premises recently.
This training camp was organized by the Akkaraipattu Educational Zone School Sports Development Project Co-ordinator A.L.Faiz under the guidance and supervision of the Zonal Education Director A.M.Rahmathullah.
Akkaraipattu Educational Zone Assistant Education Director (Primary Education) S.Amjathkhan who was the chief guest inaugurated the programme.
The main objective of the programme is to select the suitable students to the relevant athletics and games. Over 150 students gathered at the camp. All participated very keenly and enthusiastically.
The coaching team was headed by a well known coach and Ampara District Secretariat Athletic Coach S.L.Thajudeen, assisted by In-service Advisor (Physical Education) M.H.Hammath and Physical Education Teachers M.M.Mufeer, I.L.M.Faiz, J.Fasmeer, A.Thabarani, Y.A.Wajith and R.Nowshad
In-service Advisors, Principals and teachers participated at this training session.
