All-rounder Mihiranga steers Sri Sumangala Panadura to victory

Mihiranga Fernando’s all-round performances steered Sri Sumangala College Panadura to an innings and 69 runs win over St. Mary’s College Kegalle in their Singer Trophy Under 19 inter-schools cricket match played at Kegalle yesterday.

The between St. Joseph’s Wennappuwa and Lumbini Colombo ended in a draw at Katunayake. The highlight of the match was 15-year-old Yasiru Yugath taking a match bag of 11 wickets for Lumbini Colombo.

Mihiranga Fernando of Sri Sumangala College Panadura performed an all-round double scoring a century and taking 9 wickets in the match.
