The third annual football encounter between Royal College, Colombo and Trinity College, Kandy will be held on Saturday October 12 from 3.30 pm onwards at Royal College Sports Complex, Reid Avenue.
Defending champions Trinity College will take on the well-balanced Royal College team. Both schools have performed creditably this session.
As this encounter gets underway after much preparation, the game has gained has greater popularity amongst the students of both colleges and will no doubt bring hopes of evolving a glamorous social event in subsequent years. Both teams have practised hard for this encounter and are determined to approach the game in a very positive manner.
The Royal College Union Football Advisory and Management committee is organising this year's encounter. The chief guest will be Dr. Sayuru Samarasundara, Chaiman, State Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Corporation of Sri Lanka.
