Sportsman and well known sports promoter Sabri Abuthair was elected as the president of the Trinity College OBA Kandy Branch.
He was a well known Kandy SC rugby fan in the early days and was a good organizer when he was secretary of the Rotary club of Kandy.
He attends all the school’s major functions, and chairs the OBA Kandy Committee. He takes over from Bathiya Welegedera.
The vice-presidents are Chanuka Wikramasinghe, Dr. Ajaya Jayaseelan, Secretary Joel Ghanaprakasam, Treasurer Dhammika Smarawickrema and the president elect is Dhanraja Reddy.
