Pearsons thump Durdans by 156 runs

Pearsons Company beat the Durdans Hospitals by 156 runs in their Mercantile ‘G’ Division cricket tournament match conducted by the Mercantile Cricket Association and played at Maradana.

Batting first Pearsons scored 228 for three with Kavinda de Silva (86) and Dinidu Sandaruwan (75) putting on an unbroken 176-run stand for the fourth wicket. In reply Durdans were all out for 72 runs with Jeewana Perera claiming 3 for 3.
