Mount Lavinia SC have it easy

The Mount Lavinia Cricket Club beat Petersons Sports Club by 128 runs in their inter-club division three Colombo District Cricket Association tournament match played at Panadura.

Batting first, the Mount Lavinia lads scored 260 for 6 with Danuska Kamal (59), Lahiru Hasintha (52) and Pasindu Eranda unbeaten on 49 runs ahead. In reply, the Petersons Sports Club were all out for 132 runs with Mohomed Ishak unbeaten on 54 runs.

Mount Lavinia CC – 260/6 in 43 overs – Danushka Kamal 59, Navod Samarakoon 34, Lahiru Hasintha 52, Pasindu Eranda 49 n/o, Saman Kumara 2/32.

Petersons SC – 132 in 29.5 overs – Indika Dissanayake 26, Mohomed Ishak 54 n/o, Danushka Udara 3/22, Navod Samarakon 3/28.
