Former sportsman Hemasiri Fernando passes away

Hemasiri Fernando, a former cricketer, athlete and volleyball player of Methodist High School in Moratumulla, Moratuwa, Richmond College, Galle, Sri Lanka Air Force, Defence Services and Central Bank died after a brief illness at the age of 79.

Funeral arrangements will be notified later. His remain lies at No. 48, Lower Indibedde Road, Puwakaramba, Moratuwa.
