Sri Lanka qualify at Asian level

Sri Lanka booked their place in the World Team Cup Wheelchair Tennis Championship when they beat Pool 2 champion, host Malaysia 2-0 in Asian Qualifiers yesterday in Kula Lumpur, Malaysia. Sri Lanka was lined up for qualifiers in Pool 1 and earlier beat China 2-1 and Australia 2-1 to emerge pool 1 champions.

Lankan team comprised D.M. Gamini, R.A.L.S. Ranaweera, D.S. R. Dharmasena and coached by Jagath Welikala.
