SLC stand firm against indiscipline conduct

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) will conduct an inquiry into an alleged incident involving a National player and a female health official attached to the Sri Lanka team during the current England series in Galle.

As a result, SLC has instructed the Sri Lanka team manager, Ashantha de Mel to submit a report into the alleged misbehaving incident.

Once the team manager submits his report, an inquiry will be conducted into the alleged incident, if the findings of the report warrant such an inquiry, a SLC media release stated yesterday.

SLC holds a zero-tolerance policy against misbehaviour and stern action will be taken against any party if proven guilty, the media release added further. (I.W)
