Viraj wins two silvers at World Kungfu C’ship

W.M Viraj Denuka Chathuranga won two silver medals in Nanquan and Nangun events at the 08th World Kungfu Championship concluded in Emishan, China recently.

Over 4000 contestants from 48 countries participated in the 08th World Kungfu Championship and Viraj won two silver medals in over 18, D Division Nanquan and Nangun events.

Viraj, who is a second year Applied Science student of Sabaragamuwa University is an old boy of Prince of Wales College. He has shown great promise in both education and sports from his school days.
