Two Lankan tennis teams to compete in Bangladesh

Sri Lankan junior tennis teams which will participate in ITF Asia 12 & under Team competition left the country to Bangladesh on Saturday.

The tournament is sanctioned by International Tennis Federation and Asian Tennis Federation. Bangladesh host the tournament and junior girls/ boys teams from Bhutan, India, Maldives, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will take part in the torunament.

The Lankan Contingent included three girls, three boys and two coaches. Sri Lankan girls team included Ruvi Lewkebandara, Arushi Thomas, Shashinika Chandrasiri with their coach Sirimal Kannangara. The Lankan boys team comprises Lisal Goonathilake, Metwan Wijemanne, Senuk Herath and their coach Shan Dep.
