Unbeaten Trinity record third win

Unbeaten Trinity College Kandy recorded their third win in the Singer Trophy Under 17 Division One Inter Schools Cricket tournament yesterday.

Trinity beat St. Thomas College Matale by 9 wickets at Matale and D.S. Senanayake College Colombo beat Sri Sumangala College Panadura by 7 wickets at Wijerama Mawatha.

* At Matale. Trinity Kandy won by 9 wickets.

St.Thomas Matale 124 in 41.5 overs (Thisum Subasingha 59, Theeraka Ranthunga 2/13, Umair Raizan 2/17, Mathisha Pathirana 2/24)

Trinity Kandy 125/1 in 13.2 overs (Akram Muthalif 59 n.o., Abishek Anandakumar 58 n.o.)

* At Wijerama Mawatha. D. S. Senanayake Colombo won by 7 wickets.

Sri Sumangala Panadura 119 in 32 overs (Gayatha Gimhan 41, Deneth Silva 22, Maneendra Jayathilaka 5/18, Vinuka De Silva 2/9, Vishwa Jayasingha 2/14)

D.S. Senanayake Colombo 120/3 in 26.2 overs (Amitha Dabare 59, Pumuditha Perera 33, Heshan Uminda 2/29). YK
