Death of past AAA official Col Sudath Madugalle

Col Sudath Madugalle, former vice president and chairman of the coaching committee of Amateur Athletic Association passed away on Thursday.

He held the post of General Secretary of the Lions Club and the Red Cross Society at the time of his death.

Col Madugalle, a former Anandian was also president of the Lanka Lions Sport Club and rendered yeoman service to promote athletics.

His remains lie at 18/15A, Indra Mawatha, Kalubowiila and at Jayaratne funeral parlour Borella from 10am on February 9. His cremation will take place on 9 February at the General Cemetery Borella at 4 pm.
