Wedisinghe to be flown to Japan for medical treatment

Leading motor racing rider Ananda Wedisinghe, who met with a serious accident in the Nuwara Eliya Road Race in April is still undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of the Kandy General hospital.

Motor racing enthusiasts and his friends have decided to send him to Japan for further treatment and have launched a fund to meet his air fare to Japan and hospital charges in Japan.
