Rizwan does proud Al-Naja Youth Club again

Addalaichenai Al-Naja Youth Club Athletic captain A.M.M. Rizwan brought fame to his club and Addalaichenai at the Ampara District 33rd Youth Sports Festival-2021 conducted by the National Youth Services Council (NYSC) Ampara District Office at the Addalaichenai Public Play Grounds recently.

He won three first places and secured gold medals in 110m hurdles, 200m race and Triple jump over 20 aged group events. Twenty Secretariat Divisions in the Ampara District took part in the meet.

A.M.M. Rizwan- best athletic player of the Addalaichenai Al Naja Youth Club is a top sportsman. Rizwan has excelled as a coach, administrator and sportsman.

He has been a role model for younger competitors by securing three gold medals. Addalaichenai Al Naja Sports Club President S. Ithrees extended his congratulations to the gold winner Rizwan.

He hopes to do better at the National Level. The District Youth Sports Festival-2021 was organized by Ampara District Youth Services Officer A.Mubarak Ali, National Youth Services Council (NYSC) Ampara District Assistant Director W.A.G.S. Damayanthi.

Digamadullah district Sri Lanka Pothujana Peramuna (SLPP) Parliamentarian and Ampara District Development Committee Chairman W.D. Weerasinghe was the Chief Guest at the ceremony.

The National Youth Services Council (NYSC) Eastern Province Director Sarath Chandrapala, Akkaraipattu Municipal Councilor Azmi A. Gaffoor and a large number of people were present on the occasion.
