The Rugby Advisory Committee appointed by the Ministry of Sports in conjunction with Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association will organize two online workshops in preparation for the upcoming school’s rugby sevens competitions later this year.
The workshop is focused on ‘Post Covid getting back to rugby with precautions’. The first workshop will be conducted by Dr. Lal Ekanayake - Director General of the Institute of Sports Medicine attached to the Ministry of Sports from 6 to 7 p.m. on 26th November (today) while the second day’s workshop will be conducted by Dilroy Fernando, Chairman T & E/Development of SLSRFR covering the ‘World Rugby focus on areas on sevens Rugby’ on 29th November (Monday) from 6 to 7.30 p.m.
Schools from Western Province (24), Central Province (8), North Western Province (8), Sabaragamuwa Province (8) and Southern Province (8) will participate in this workshop. (AN)
