Mishara shines in drawn game at Pellekele

Opener Kamil Mishara missed out a century by just two runs as Sri Lanka ‘A’ drew their first 4-Day Unofficial Test match against Pakistan ‘A’ at the Pallekele Stadium in Kandy yesterday.

The-20-year-old left-hander struck 19 fours and faced 97 balls before he was finally out caught by Kuram Gulam from the bowling of off-spinner Qasim Akram.

He also added 98 runs for the first wicket with Lahiru Udara who scored 28 with four boundaries.

Earlier Pakistan ‘A’ made a formidable 324 for two before declaring after Sri Lanka ‘A’ were dismissed for 141 in the first innings.
