Thehan to meet Luca in Men’s Open final

Thehan Wijemanne and Luca Knese qualified to play in the Men’s Open Singles final when they won their respective semi-finals of the HNB-Hutch Clay Court Tennis Nationals, which continued at the SLTA Courts in Green Path yesterday.

Wijemanne rallied around through his experience to beat Akila Vimukthi in straight sets 6-2, 6-2, while Knese also cruised to a straight set win over Sanka Athukorala 6-0, 6-2.
