Southern Gladiators led by former Richmond all rounder Indika Udayanga defeated Super X1 team by 33 runs in the final of the T10 tournament played at Piliyandala Central grounds to clinch the title.
Southern Gladiators scored 130 for 3 in their 10 overs while Super X1 managed to get 97 all out in 8.3 overs .Rangana Vidhanapathirana top scored with 45 for Gladiators while skipper Udayanaga(24) and Fawaz Jishty (23n.o) also made useful contributions for the champion team . Janaka Rupasinghe 3 for 24 and Bhakthi Mendis 2 for 6 were the most successful bowlers for the winning side
Rangana Vidhannapathirana of Southern Gladiators was adjudged man of the final, player of the tournament and best batsman of the tournament for his consistent performances
