Cycling legend Boniface supports Charity Ride for Ceylon

Sri Lanka’s well known cyclist Boniface Perera teamed up with Ride for Ceylon for a ride to Kalutura over the weekend. Boniface represented Sri Lanka at the Commonwealth Games and won the Tour de Lanka race for three consecutive years.

He stated his amazement at the work being done by Ride for Ceylon in Sri Lanka, to bridge the communities and restore GMH. Boniface has vowed to help whenever possible.

Boniface is hoping to join the charity ride to Jaffna in July if time permits.

Two riders, Ramzi Riyal and Dulanganie Jayatilleke, were impressed by Boniface’s willingness to encourage and help all the fellow riders with varying capabilities.
