St.Anthony’s Girls School, Katugastota has dominated girls school cricket during the last decade and the girls cricket team has become champions in the ‘C’ group in the All Island Schools Cricket tournament conducted by the Sri Lanka Cricket Associiation which is now in progress. In addition they have become champions in Kandy District softballl tournament for well over 10 years and their hardball cricket team has emerged champions for more than five years. In the year 2018, St.Anthony’s Girls Cricket Team finished fourth at the All Island Girls Cricket tournament.
This year they went up in the ladder of success to become Group ‘C’ champions defeating Nugawela National School, Jayasiripura Junior School, Bakamuna and finally beat Mahamaya Girls School by eight wickets .
