A special event to mark the 1996 Cricket World Cup Silver Jubilee Celebrations was held at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri La Hotel on Wednesday.
The Sri Lanka Team members dressed in the 1996 World Cup outfit paraded to the stage with cheerleaders Percy and Lionel carrying the Sri Lanka flag to the main stage. The event was organised by Iyngaran Media Solutions (Pvt) Limited headed by its Managing Director N. Karthik and the Creative Head M. F. Ziya Ur Hassan.
