Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) yesterday announced that the matters which led to the resignation of Fast Bowling Consultant Chaminda Vaas were amicably resolved following a meeting between Vaas and the Management Team of SLC.
Vaas withdrew his submitted Letter of Resignation and agreed to continue as the Fast Bowling Consultant to SLC, the position which he held before his resignation.
“Sri Lanka Cricket acknowledges the valuable services rendered by Vaas to SLC and the significant contribution he has made to the sport as an iconic player,” a media release stated yesterday.
