Shakira Lakshani an outstanding volleyball player

Shakira Laskshani of Pubudu Sports Club, Tangalle is an outstanding volleyball player having excelled in several local and international tournaments.

The former schoolgirl of Vijayaba Vidyalaya, Hungama was the All-Island Best Player in 2016 and 2017, Best Attacker at the All-Island Under-19 Tournament and Best Attacker at the Rupavahini Volleyball Tournament in 2017.

In addition, Shakira was selected for the Sri Lanka Under-17 Girls’ Tour of Thailand in 2016 where the Sri Lanka Team was placed eighth.
