Two classic goals by Mohamed Hasmeer helped Sea Hawks SC edge out Blue Eagles SC 2-1 in their Pre-League Football Tournament encounter played at the Sugathadasa Stadium in Colombo yesterday.
Both goals came in quick succession early in the first half which enabled the winners to notch up a comfortable victory.
The winners netted the first goal in the third minute of the first half through striker Hasmeer and three minutes later he further increased the lead with another spectacular goal.
Blue Eagles scored their solitary goal through Jeewantha Fernando in the 53 minutes. (AN)
