Masters Basketball Inter-League Tournament Semifinals held

The Masters Basketball Inter-League Tournament Semifinals were held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, yesterday.

The competition consisted of 39 teams. The Men’s category consisted of the over 35, 40, 45, and 50 age groups; while the Women’s category had the over 35 and 40 age groups. The tournament would enable scouting the best players for the Pan Pacific Masters Games, which is to be held in Gold Coast, Australia, later this year. The event is sponsored by Gaja Sports, a pioneer in sports promotion.
