Customs Airport Knight Riders wins Resurrection Cup

Customs, Airport Knight Riders beat Customs Headquarters Gladiators by seven runs in a keenly contested Quadrangular T/20 Cricket encounter, while Colombo Masters emerged Plate winners, played at the NCC ground on March 20 and 21.

Additional Director General of Customs,.Mahendra Arthanayake, a famous cricketer together with. Mahes de Zoysa, who also played County Cricket in England ,took the pain to organize this game mainly to encourage the youngsters of the Sri-Lanka Customs who have lost touch of Cricket for the past one and a half years due to the COVID 19 Pandemic and to continue playing cricket under the guidelines given by the Health Authorities. Vijitha Ravipriya, Director General of Customs, was present to witness the final ,and he was a tower of strength to the players, who gave of their best.
