Akkaraipattu Royal Sports Club beat No-Name Sports Club, Akkaraipattu by 21 runs in the final to emerge champions and bagged the FSC Champion Trophy-2021 of the limited over cricket tournament conducted by Akkaraipattu FSC Sports Club at the Public Grounds, Akkaraipattu recently.
Akkaraipattu Royal Sports Club team batting first scored 172 runs for the loss of six wickets in their allotted 20 overs (Ubaith -69, Niyas -58, Imras Khan – 3/33. Akkaraipattu No-Name Sports Club team in reply scored 151 runs for the loss of ten wickets in 18.2 overs (Sajeer -58, Fowshan – 31, Niyas -5/19, Janoos -3/28).
Man of the match award was secured by Niyas of the Akkaraipattu Royal SC team.
