Sports Minister pays commendation to sports media

Minister of sports Namal Rajapksa played a glowing tribute to sports media and said that when the country was on lockdown and sports events were not happening, the sports media turned it around.

“This was done by sports media by egging on sportsmen as well as authorities to revive sports according to health guidelines,” he lauded this. The Minister said that he would also talk with International Sports Bodies and try to host events in Sri Lanka again.
