Gary Stead re-appointed as New Zealand Coach till 2023 World Cup

New Zealand Cricket have extended the tenure of Black Caps head coach Gary Stead for a further three years, a move that'll keep the 48-year-old in the role until the 2023 World Cup in India, stated the Cric Buzz.

Stead took charge 11 months out from the 2019 World Cup after incumbent Mike Hesson vacated the post for personal reasons. In his first ICC tournament, he guided New Zealand to the final, with a major trophy only slipping away on the boundary count rule.
