Police SC head points table; Dulash, Gayan leading batsman and bowler

Unbeaten Police SC head the SLC Major Tier ‘B’ 3-day Inter-Club Cricket tournament points table with 4 wins after 7th weekend of matches.

Police SC have 99.420 points followed by Sri Lanka Ports Authority CC in second place with 90.830 points, and Bloomfield C & AC third with 82.510 points.

Each team is due to play 11 matches but due to the corona virus outbreak the tournament has been suspended with four matches yet to be completed by each side.

Right-hander Dulash Udayanga of Police SC is the leading batsman so far with 584 runs from 13 innings with a century and 4 half centuries. Eranga Vithana of Bloomfield C & AC is a close second with 563 runs from 12 innings with a ton and 4 half tons.

Bloomfield C&AC left-arm spinner Gayan Sirisoma is the leading wicket taker with 64 wickets for 898 runs from 14 innings. Chanaka Komasaru (Ports Authority CC) has 52 wickets for 952 runs in 12 innings. – (YK)
