Easy for Cambrians

A very fine bowling spell of 5 for 7 runs by Mahinsa de Silva enabled Prince of Wales College to beat C. W. W. Kannangara Vidyalaya Matugama by seven wickets in their inter school under 17 division two tournament cricket match conducted by Sri Lanka schools cricket Association and worked off at Moratuwa.

Batting first visitors were all out for a paltry 57 runs and Cambrians notched up the required score for the loss of three wickets.

C W. W. Kannangara Vidyalaya – 57 in 22.5 overs – Mahinsa de Silva 5/7, Thenuka Fernando 2/5.

Prince of Wales – 53 for.3 in 11 overs – Geeshan Fernando 18, Dinil Samuditha 2/17.
