Proud young Sri Lankan who plays for Moorabbin cricket club, Australia, standing beside the ICC cricket world cup during the trophy tour, with a dream to hold the world cup one day representing his motherland Sri Lanka, Renaldi Dias is a product of Presley Polonowita founder, CEO/Head coach of desert Cubs cricket academy, Dubai, Renaldi Dias joined DCCA at the age of 6 years and wend his way to captain U 17 tour of his motherland. He emerged player of the tour, his award was presented by legendary cricketer Sidath Wettamuny Chief Guest and the world's highest wicket taker Muttiah Muralitheran guest of honour during a gala dinner at the Kingsbury Colombo.
Renaldi Dias left for Australia from Dubai to join Deakin University, named in honour of Alfred Deakin a remarkable Australian statesman, Three times Prime Minister of Australia. Renaldi graduated with distintion in Commerce. He played cricket for Morabbin Cricket Club, his father Sujeewa Dias is a banker in Dubai, who captained St. Joseph College, Colombo Rugby team in 1989 Grandfather Telesphor Dias is awaiting for the D. Day to see Grandson wearing the Sri Lanka Cap.
