The sixth year coloursman all-rounder and last year’s cricket captain of Piliyandala Central College Heshan Madushanka has excelled with the bat and the ball in the just concluded first eleven cricket matches. Centralians have finished fifteen matches and they have won eight matches outright and six on first innings and lost one match first innings.
Heshan is a middle order right hand bat and left arm leg spinner has scored 838 runs and captured 91 wickets and his contribution carried a long way for Centralians success.
They are coached by Cambrian Eranga Fernando and they will be meeting their arch rivals Taxila Central in their annual big match and limited overs match on 22nd, 23rd and 24th February 2019.
Heshan scored two centuries with the top score of 134 runs with St. Peters College Negombo and three fifties. He had tow ten wicket hauls and six five wicket hauls and the best being 10 for 58 (5/27 and 5/31) against Rahula College Matara and they beat them by innings and 53 runs.
