Angelo Perera completed a double hundred for NCC in their traditional match against rivals SSC on the second day of the SLC Major League Tier ‘A’ Inter Club Super 8 match played at the P Sara Oval yesterday.
Perera’s 201 helped NCC total 444 but SSC replied strongly with 290-2 with Sandun Weerakkody leading the way with an undefeated 167.
At SSC, Colts ran up a massive total of 615 against Tamil Union who were 67-2 at the close. Gamindu Kanishka of Saracens SC was the other centurion of the day against Army CC. Matches will be continued today on day three.

Prasansana Jayamanne of Negombo CC scored his third century of the season with 108 against Moors SC in their SLC Major League Tier ‘A’ Inter Club Plate match played at BRC grounds yesterday.
Yohan de Silva of Ports Authority CC also made a hundred an unbeaten 137 runs against BRC. All matches will be continued today on day two.
