Sri Lanka Cricket states that according to a directive issued by Sports Minister Faiszer Musthapha to conduct an election of office bearers to the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), the Competent Authority of SLC Kamal Pathmasiri has convened a Special General Meeting of its membership to appoint the members to the Election Committee.
Accordingly; the required notice has already been dispatched to the membership of SLC by the Director General of Sports and the Special General Meeting is scheduled to be held on 12 November at 10.00 a.m. at the Duncan White Auditorium of the Ministry of Sports in Colombo 7. The Special General meeting will be conducted by the Director General of Sports.
