Ahan Sanchitha scored a fine half century for Royal and Thomian right-arm leg-spinner Dilmin Ratnayake took six wickets for 71 runs to steal the limelight on the first day of the two-day mini Battle of the Blues cricket match played at Mt Lavinia yesterday.
Royal declared their first innings at 244-8 and S Thomas’ in reply had lost one wicket for 13 runs. The match will be continued today.
