Pasindu steers Royal Colombo into quarters

Centurion skipper Pasindu Sooriyabandara steered Royal College, Colombo into the quarter finals of ‘Singer Trophy’ Under 19 division 11 inter schools (Two day K/O) Cricket tournament when they posted first innings win over Debarawewa Natioanl School in pre quarters at at Reid Avenue yesterday.

Royal skipper Pasindu made his second ton in this season scoring an unbeaten 121 runs in 163 balls with 12 boundaries and a six.

Royal Colombo: 245/8 in 72 overs (Pasindu Sooriyabandara 121 n.o., Kavindu Madarasinghe 68, Imlaka Madushan 5/39).
